Have you ever wondered what lies behind the doors of Disneyland’s exclusive Club 33 or wanted to take a selfie with your favorite Disney character? Join us on a magical journey as we peel back the layers of wonder and innovation at Disneyland. We start our adventure at the elusive Club 33, as we learn about its origins and the mystery behind the number 33. We unearth the secret of its exquisite mahogany furniture, chandeliers and the $30,000 upfront fee to become a member. Inspired by Club 33, we contemplate on how we can create a VIP experience for our own LBE venues.

Then, we shift our focus to the Disney Character Clicks feature, a new innovation that allows guests to take selfies with their beloved characters. However, there’s a twist in the tale as we delve into the impact of Genie+, Disney’s reservation system, on the decline of spontaneity within the park experience. We also examine Disney’s strategy of intentionally holding back capacity to generate additional revenue and its effect on the guest experience.

Brace yourselves as we move into the exhilarating intersection of animation and physics that Disney uses to bring realistic movements to robots. We watch a captivating video showcasing the emotion of these robots and ponder upon their potential to revolutionize guest experiences. We also hear from Lucy Edwards about her encounter with tactile models at Disney and the extraordinary efforts of a cast member in ensuring an enhanced experience for her. As we conclude, we admire Tokyo’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, evident in their use of Japanese Braille on everyday items. Tune in to this episode for a Disney-filled adventure and don’t forget to keep kicking ass!
